In the upcoming 2017 assembly election to Kasganj there will be heated multi-cornered contest. In 2014, the BJP candidate from Etah Lok Sabha constituency, Rajveer Singh, had secured a lead of 42758 votes over his nearest SP rival Devendra Singh Yadav in the Kasganj assembly segment.
